Red Wine & Chocolate Tour February (2 Fabulous Weekends)

Join us for two weekends as each winery pairs delicious specialty chocolates with carefully selected elegant red wines. From the fullness of Cabernet to the finesse of Syrah, come see what all the excitement is about in this heavenly combination. A wonderful way to celebrate the most romantic month of the year.

Olympic Peninsula Bird Fest March / April
The stage is set for the Olympic Peninsula Bird Festival – quiet bays, estuaries, beaches on the Strait of Juan de Fuca, an island bird sanctuary, a five mile long sand spit, and the beautiful Dungeness River Valley.

This festival has a full slate of extraordinary offerings waiting for you. Experience guided birding trips, boat tours, kayaking, salmon banquet, and many other presentations. Grab your binoculars and enjoy the grandeur of nature’s presence.

Northwest Wine & Cheese Tour April
The regions finest winemakers have superbly matched locally made wines with handmade specialty cheeses. Each winery will be hosting a different Northwest Specialty Creamery.

Juan de Fuca Festival of the Arts May
Celebrated every Memorial Day weekend. Featuring over 100 performances of music, dance and theater from around the world, a street fair, public art exhibits and other activities. Season concert events are also offered.

Irrigation Festival May
Washington States oldest continuing festival (since 1896). This festival celebrates the initiation, development and support of the irrigation ditches which brought water to the once dry prairies of Sequim. This year we have more events and more community involvement than ever, making it a spectacular festival.

Olympic Peninsula Lavender Farms – Open all summer for tours
Lavender Farms offer tours all summer. There are over 144 varieties of lavender in the valley and they will be blooming during the summer for all to enjoy!

Olympic Peninsula Boutique Wineries Open all year for tours
Boutique Wineries offer tours and tastings all year. – Eight Unique Wineries – One Spectacular Region with superb local wine. Visiting the Olympic Peninsula Wineries is the quintessential Northwest experience.

North Olympic Discovery Marathon & Half Marathon June
The North Olympic Discovery Marathon and Half Marathon are run on a unique point-to-point course that incorporates the Olympic Discovery Trail with stunning views of the Olympic Mountains and a five mile finishing stretch along the shores of the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Sequim to Port Angeles.

The full marathon is a USATF sanctioned event that is a Boston Marathon qualifier. The event will be chip timed. The rails to trails course is a wide, mixed, hard surface trail. Cool June weather next to the ocean can be expected. Both courses are marked at every mile.

Olympic Music Festival (June thru September)
The festival is located on a 55 acre farm on the beautiful Olympic Peninsula, an outstanding setting where you can enjoy the sounds of exquisite chamber music. More than 10,000 people attend “Concerts in the Barn” every summer. Festival performances are broadcast by Classical KING-FM and throughout the year on National Public Radio’s “Performance Today.”

From late June through early September, performances are held every Saturday and Sunday afternoon at 2pm.

Concert on the Pier Series Wed. 6:00 – 8:00p.m. (June thru September)
Join us on the Port Angeles Concert on the Pier every Wednesday this summer from June September. Open to the entire community free of charge. Enjoy an extensive variety of music ranging from Jazz, Bluegrass, Country, Soul, R&B, Reggae and more…

Lavender Celebration (celebrated the third weekend of July)
The Sequim – Dungeness Valley is the “Lavender Capital of North America” with more than 30 farms growing this amazingly diverse herb. The lavender season runs June – September.

The Sequim Lavender Farm Faire & Lavender Festival are celebrated the third weekend in July, featuring farm tours with over a hundred varieties of lavender plants. Enjoy the street fair with craftspeople, wonderfully unique lavender products, fine musical entertainment, flavorful Pacific Northwest cuisine and wine tasting from the local North Olympic Peninsula Wineries.

Arts In Action Festival – Sand Sculpting Competition July

Observe Master Sculptors from around the world as they transform sand and water into breathtaking works of art over the course of three days. This event is a qualifier for the World Championship of Sand Sculpting. Port Angeles.

Port Townsend Film Festival September
The Port Townsend Film Festival has been showcasing independent films and filmmakers since 1999. Experience this special 3 day event every September.

Port Townsend Wooden Boat Festival – September
Port Townsend Wooden Boat Festival has a history, location, spirit, quality of boats and people that make it the most talked about wooden boat festival in the world. This is the most popular festival in Port Townsend and the largest gathering of unique and beautiful wooden boats (more than 250) in the United States.

Dungeness Crab & Seafood Festival and Tour of Wineries October
The Dungeness Crab & Seafood Festival is the annual celebration of the region’s diverse bounty – the seafood, the maritime and cultural traditions and the breathtaking coastal environment. The festival’s featured crustacean, the Dungeness Crab, was named after the village of Dungeness.
